Robert Higgins Jr. is a passionate restaurateur dedicated to curating inviting, unique and vibrant dining and entertainment spaces. With more than fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry, Robert proudly owns and operates six restaurants and lounges in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee.
A St. Louis native, Robert came to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue an undergraduate degree at Tennessee State University. Initially on track to go to dental school, Robert quickly found his true passion for event planning and entertaining while hosting events in college.







The hospitality industry is always evolving, and restaurateurs must adapt quickly to stay competitive and serve customers effectively. Rob spoke with The Tennessean about what has worked for his establishments and how tariffs could impact businesses, particularly small business owners.

Rob was ecstatic to sit with April Eaton to discuss trends in Nashville tourism on Urban Outlook. While nearly 17 million people visited Nashville last year, less than 12% of those visitors were Black. Music City is made up of a rich and diverse culture but our tourism numbers don’t reflect that.

The dining and entertainment space is extremely dynamic — especially in a city like Nashville that’s constantly growing and changing — but my Rob and his team remain committed to finding innovative ways to refresh their businesses.
